My coffee pot cover the hubby made me today!!

First I'd like to thank Char from "The Pickled Pepper Patch" for sharing her tutorial.
I picked up these star knobs years ago and never used them for anything.

Now my ugly BUNN coffee pot is hidden "YAY"
They look great on here!

He didn't stain the wood inside
(I was too much in a hurry to get it in my kitchen!)

My $2.00 Dollar Tree Project ~Primitive Candle & Base"

Good Morning!!
I would like to share my $2.00 Dollar Tree project.

The wooden candle stick was white. I painted it black, added a coat of modge podge and while wet, sprinkled cinnamon. I let dry then added another coat of modge podge.
For the candle, I printed out the word I wanted then traced it on my candle with a stylus. Then engraved the words. I then painted the words black and on went a coat of modge podge. After it was completely dry, I used Deco Art walnut stain to make it look old.
This is for decoration purposes only but you can surely make a hole in the center and use a battery powered tea light.
I think modge podge is the best thing ever!!!

My FAUX pantry cake using Chars instructions

I decided to try Chars instructions for a faux pantry cake. Let me tell you, these are very easy.

NEW Give Away ~Grungy Angel Jar~

Good Morning everyone!!
I wanted to do another give away to my followers.
I am offering this 4" tall grungy jar with a ginger angel (graphic by my dear friend Twigs).
This jar smells so good!!! I have tied a cranberry/mustard homespun tie that matches the angel.
You can fill with rosehips, cotton balls, q-tips, tooth picks, paper clips, the uses are endless!!!
